Returns and refunds

A straightforward 30-day return policy for physical products purchased from this shop.

Return window

You may request a return within 30 days after delivery. Returned items must be unused, complete, and in their original protective packaging. Products damaged through misuse or returned with missing components may not qualify for a full refund.

Start a return

Email support@opensciencemuseum.org with your order reference, the item being returned, and the reason. Wait for a return authorization and return address before mailing anything. Unapproved returns may be delayed or refused because our public business correspondence address may not be the fulfillment return location.

Return shipping

If we sent the wrong item or the product arrived damaged or materially different from its description, we will provide a remedy without charging return shipping. For preference-based returns, the customer pays return shipping and original outbound shipping is not refundable.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the return is received and inspected. The payment processor or card issuer may need an additional five to ten business days to post the credit.

Cancellations

Contact us as soon as possible. We will cancel and refund an order that has not entered fulfillment. Once dispatched, the standard return process applies.
